Everything about this day was fun and beautiful. Stephanie & Alex chose The La Valencia Hotel in La Jolla, CA as the destination spot for their wedding. It has a wonderful historic, almost old Hollywood vibe, with a maze of hallways all leading to fabulous ocean views. Everywhere the wedding day took us, beauty and style hung in the backdrop. One of my favorite parts of telling a wedding day story is spending time with the couple as they experience all the excitement and emotion of what’s going on around them. That is especially fun with two people like Stephanie & Alex, who are so relaxed together and who enjoy each other’s company so much. Throughout the day, so many people close to them spoke about the strength of their partnership and just how much they laugh together. Capturing laughter is another thing that I love, and there was no shortage of that this day either. With so many fun and personal details, like the mariachi band and their party favor maracas, their personalities and playfulness came through in every part of this celebration. Congrats to these two lovely people! Here are a few of my favorites from the day.
