The first thing we noticed when arriving for our shoot with Sarah and Brian, is that they live in an awesome neighborhood. They really wanted to choose a location that was meaningful to them, and decided on the neighborhood they both currently live in, where so many of their memories together have been created.
They greeted us by buzzing us up to Sarah’s apartment to hang out for a few minutes before we started the shoot. We snapped a few shots inside, which was so much fun, and then we walked the streets nearby, which were bursting with character and color. We loved that everything was so walkable, and that they lived only a few blocks from the lake and the beach.
After exploring the streets a while we strolled down to the beach together (where we apparently had narrowly missed them earlier in the day as we were scouting and as they ate lunch together on a bench nearby). We ended the evening with dinner together at an awesome little cafe just a few blocks from their place, and spent a couple of delightful hours talking, laughing, and just enjoying each other’s company. We had so much fun with you guys, and are really looking forward both to your wedding and to hanging out again soon!
