Kelsey & Denis are a very special couple, and their beautiful rustic farm wedding was such a wonderful representation of their personalities, humor, generous spirits, and love of having fun. These two met in Uganda, where Denis is from, while Kelsey was studying abroad there. They both lived not too far from Lake Victoria and shared an amazing story with us about how all the fisherman in the area gather out on the lake at night and light candles to attract the fish. This creates a whole horizon of beautiful, shimmering lights, which they tell us is a sight to behold. Needless to say we can’t wait to visit. . . and to maybe snap a few frames of this phenomenon on our cameras!
Also, since the flight from Uganda is so expensive, and because it takes almost two whole days to get here, only Denis’s father could make the trip. Even though the rest of his family wasn’t able to be there in person, his father was able to reach them via cell phone during Kelsey & Dennis’s vows, which was such an amazing thing. We were moved by the amount of love and celebration that was present in this day, and we had so much fun with our new friends! We hope you enjoy these moments from this very special day.
