The redwood forests of Northern California are surely one of the most majestic places on earth. The average age of the trees in the old growth parts of these forests is 500 – 700 years, with a few having stood in their current spot for as many as 2,000 years. Being there in the midst of these ancient trees provides a rich sense of perspective and also evokes a deep appreciation for the longevity and long lasting beauty of these giants. It also has to be one of the most incredible backdrops for a wedding, and it was the perfect spot for Anne & Scott’s intimate elopement ceremony. After exploring the forest ahead of time they settled on a beautiful grove of towering trees, and their kindness, laughter and joy throughout this day made this special celebration such a pleasure to capture! Redwoods + Anne & Scott = one amazing afternoon! Thanks you two, and congratulations!
