I first encountered Mele & Tyler while capturing the wedding day of some of their close friends last year. I remembered them from among all the guests that day partially because of the gusto with which they danced at the reception, which stood out and made for many memorable moments captured. I could see even from my glimpse at that wedding that they loved to celebrate and have fun, and I was so excited when they got in touch to let me know that they were getting married. I love it when my relationships with couples lead to new friendships and connections with their friends, and their friends’ friends! I get to meet so many wonderful people that way, and Mele & Tyler were no exception. Their kindness and hospitality made such an impression on me and the joyful abandon with which they approached their celebration was wonderful and so much fun to capture. It also didn’t hurt that they chose an absolutely gorgeous location up in the rolling hills of Sonoma County CA.
