This session was special for a couple of reasons. One is that Andy & Carey love to laugh together and we spent so much of our time with them laughing ourselves and taking in the joy of their relationship. The other is that Andy is an old and dear friend (and Carey is a new one), which makes our opportunity to capture their wedding later this Fall in San Diego, CA an especially meaningful and fun one. It’s always a joy to be able to spend time with friends, and we had so much fun exploring this little corner of Golden Gate park with them! Here are a few of our favorite moments from the afternoon. When Preeti & Karan invited us to travel to St. Louis to document their multi-day Hindu wedding we were especially excited that we were going to be able to capture the Sangeet celebration the night before the wedding. With so much color, laughter, dancing and fun from this evening we felt that this deserved a post all its own. Don’t worry, we’ll be posting plenty more from their wedding day soon! In the mean time, we hope you enjoy this small window in on an awesome evening of celebration. Sangeet Venue: Mad Art Gallery Being able to meet Kyle & Scott in Palm Springs for their engagement session was so much fun! We headed out in the 105 degree heat and had a blast exploring some beautiful little corners of town together. As you’ll see in the images below Kyle & Scott love to laugh together, which is both so enjoyable to be around and so much fun to capture with a camera. We can’t wait to join them in Palm Springs again for their wedding this Fall. Hope you enjoy a few of our favorites moments from our time together! Kori & Brian started their marriage journey together by marking off an important item on their bucket list — visiting some of the biggest trees on the planet at Redwood National Park in Northern California. Their goal is actually a lot larger than that — they are hoping to visit every national park in the country together, and they already have a pretty awesome start. The California redwoods in particular though seemed like the perfect spot for their intimate wedding ceremony, and they flew all the way out from Cincinnati, OH to meet us in a majestic grove in the middle of the forest. We were so moved by the joy in their ceremony and the beauty of the surroundings they chose. We spent the rest of the day with Kori & Brian hiking around and exploring the vast and magical beauty of the redwood forest and coastline. We love elopements and had so much fun with these two! We hope you enjoy these moments from their amazing day. Annie & Chuck traveled all the way from Salt Lake City to get married on an incredibly beautiful patch of cliffs overlooking the Pacific ocean at the Lost Whale Inn in Trinidad, CA. Their choice of location was breathtaking, and from the moment we arrived we knew it was going to be a very special celebration. We were so moved by the outpouring of love and emotion we witnessed from the intimate group of family that had also made the trip out. Annie & Chuck are so sweet and fun to be around, and it turns out that they are small business owners as well (check out their awesome screen printing and design studio when you get a chance).
