There is something so natural about the way that Christine and Adam interact with one another–which is one thing that makes capturing moments of them together so easy and so much fun. We also have to take this opportunity to say that they both have rather striking profiles (which we’ve been remarking on around the house ever since their downtown Chicago engagement session–which was recently featured on Brooklyn Bride). What can we say, some people just look great from any angle!
We were recently blessed with the opportunity to be a part of their wedding, and we were really struck by the huge amount of love and support they have from family and friends, who all, by the way, also really know how to celebrate–and they did! And, we were so excited to be able to see one of our 2010 couples there (hi Kate & Pete!), and also one of our 2012 couples (hi Anne & Tyler!). So much fun!
We’ve had so much fun getting to know Christine and Adam through the course of their engagement session and wedding day, that we’re really going to miss hanging out with them–which means we’ll just have to make sure we run into each other again sometime soon. You guys had such a beautiful wedding day, we were so thrilled to be able to capture it with our cameras, and we’re excited to see where the future leads you two! Congrats again!!

p.s. No photos survived to tell the story–but on the way to the reception Derren discovered a hidden set of NASCAR driving skills, while following a speeding, and very confused party-bus driver around the crowded highways of North Chicago! Evidence once again that the life of a photographer is always an adventure.
