If you haven’t been to Griffith Park in Los Angeles do yourself a favor and go. For this recent engagement shoot we ended up hiking all the way up to the observatory from the very bottom of the hill. When we finally arrived at the top it was well worth it, as the vantage from the top was incredible and the path all along the way up afforded pretty spectacular views of the city and the sunset. We had an awesome time at this shoot, and we hope you enjoy these images!
We met Heather and Jeremy at the Missouri Botanical Gardens on a beautiful, sunny, and snowy afternoon. Usually the gardens are lush and green and full of life, but that day, all covered in snow, it was really delightfully transformed into another place all together. We discovered that Heather and Jeremy were actually Highschool sweethearts, which made sense as we watched their love and playful humor with one another unfold throughout the day. They definitely came prepared to enjoy the snowy surroundings, and we had such an awesome time laughing with them and tromping around in the snow with them until every last one of our toes were numb. We can’t wait to capture more of them at their wedding! We hope you enjoy!
Expressive people make for expressive images, as we think you’ll see in these moments we captured from Joe and Colleen’s beautiful wedding day. All day long we saw their love for each other in their faces and in the warmth they shared. We were so honored to be able to be a part of their day, and had so much fun capturing many wonderful moments of them together. Not only was it a beautiful day, and a lot of fun, but Joe also surprised Colleen with an amazing Bentley automobile as her escort from the hotel where she had been getting ready (which Lisa also got to ride around in for part of the morning. . . lucky!). What a great surprise, and what an awesome celebration. We hope you enjoy!

That made it hard to choose which ones we wanted to share in this post, but really that’s a good problem to have. One reason they look so natural in all their photos is because they’re actually high-school sweet-hearts, and the deep and seasoned connection and trust they share was evident in every moment.
