Rhoda + Patrick – Married | San Francisco, CA

Rhoda + Patrick - San Francisco Wedding Photographer - Destination Wedding Photographer - The Rasers 20 pinthisPatrick & Rhoda decided they wanted a wedding that was intimate, unique and at that also reflected the city they live in and love so much. They achieved all of these things in finding the Haas-Lilienthal House — a beautiful victorian mansion tucked away on quiet street in the heart of San Francisco. There’s also something really special about smaller and more intimate wedding celebrations. A sense of deep community, friendship and family were so present throughout the day, and Rhoda & Patrick’s humor and easy-going personalities made being a part of this celebration such a pleasure! Polina + Ryan – Married | Marin County, CA

We are so excited to share this beautiful celebration! All of the festivities took place amongst the rolling golden hills of Marin County in the little town of Nicasio, CA. Even though it’s not too far from the city, its rustic beauty really makes it seem like you are worlds away, which made it a perfect spot for a couple like Polina & Ryan who both love to travel and share a sense of adventure. Polina & Ryan also have such a fun and playful spirit together and everything about their day reflected that. Peter & Ivy – Married | Asheville, NC

First off, Peter & Ivy are awesome. It’s being able to tell the story of people like these two that make our work so rewarding. Not only are they really sweet and generous people, but when you are with them the ease of their connection and friendship just seems to put others at ease as well. Peter & Ivy chose Asheville, NC as the destination for their wedding because they love the city and mentioned that they’d love to live there some day. This made it the perfect place for them to begin their journey together and celebrate with friends and family from all over the country. This was such a beautiful day, full of SO much laughter. It was so much fun to be with Peter & Ivy, and a special thanks to Carrie Turner for graciously lending her eye and talents to helping capture this day. We hope you enjoy!

Peter & Ivy – Portraits | Asheville, NC

The morning of a wedding is almost always a very busy time, filled with preparations for the day, time with friends & family, and lots of last minute details. It’s a time that can often feel overwhelming. With that in mind, Peter & Ivy decided they were going to take some of that time and make it into something more relaxing and fun instead. So, they woke up early the morning of their wedding and walked a few blocks from where they were each staying in downtown Asheville to meet for a quiet cup of coffee, some conversation and a few relaxed portraits around the neighborhood. Katie + Kamao – Wedding | Portola Valley, CA

You may remember when we shared Katie & Kamao’s engagement session and mentioned about how much fun we had connecting with them both over dessert at a little cafe in Laguna Beach the first time we met. Well, we already knew that their wedding was going to be a special one, but we were blown away when we arrived at the picturesque private estate they had chosen for their day, which was perched in the hills above the San Francisco Bay in Portola Valley, CA. Not only was it an amazingly beautiful spot, but having everything at the same home brought a wonderful sense of intimacy to the day. Katie & Kamao are both warm and generous people and their affection for each other and their love of friends and family just spilled over into every aspect of the day. This was a beautiful and joy-filled occasion and it was such a pleasure to capture it all! Here are a few of our favorite moments.
